It's Not Goodbye, It's I'll See You Later

Today has been... interesting.  Pretty much an emotional roller coaster, and I can only think of a handful of words that can truly describe how it's been.  Let's just say today has been exuberant, sentimental, luxurious, sensual, ludicrous, phenomenal, and absolutely ballistic all at the same time! :p  Ok so Danny and Coon moved back home today... :(  Danny's doing his 2nd semester at SLCC (that's Salt Lake Community College for all our international readers out there), and Coon is going on a mormon mission to Montevideo, Uruguay.  You might not think this is a big deal, I mean they're only 45 minutes away, right?  WRONG!  This means no more pillow fights through the night, no more going on our morning jogs together, no more EPIC video game battles and endless hours of watching Man vs Food, Pawn Stars, Friday Night Lights, Law and Order: SVU, and Arrested Development.  Ladies and gentlemen, this means no more Fluffy... for now.  Here are a couple pictures I managed to snap right before they... left. :(

It was hard to see them go, but it had to be done.  I'm sure the world didn't want to see Fluffy become disbanded, I mean who would?  It is my hope that one day, ALL of Fluffy will be back together.  It may not be today, this week, this month, or even this year.  But someday we will.

I'd like to end this post by saying one last thing.  Live every day like it's your last.  Thank you.

FINALS WEEK!!!!!?!!!

Ladies and gentlemen it's almost here.  The most stressful week of all time. (gulp)  All I can say is that D-415 is NOT taking it lightly.  Oh yeah and from now on when I say D-415 I'm referring to my apartment and those who live in it, namely Danny, Adam (Coon), Manny (Smash, Christian, who knows what they call him these days), Landon, Alex, and myself.  Danny, who is usually the party animal in our room, always blasting music without a care in the world, has now turned into a cute little bookworm.
And I must confess that if you've seen me in the last couple of days I've been practicing nonstop, constantly building for my architect final exam.
But non of us has been working as hard as Landon.  I swear when that kid isn't at school, he's doing his flight simulations preparing for his HUGE airplane final exam.  I managed to snap this picture of him right before he was about to "take off" in his flight simulation today.

While the rest of the world might be slacking off right before our finals kick off, I can assure you that D-415 is not.  Whether it be reading, building architectual pieces, or doing flight simulations, D-415 takes finals very seriously.  In our apartment, we have a famous quote by Aristotle that we wrote on our white board and it serves as somewhat of a motivator to us.  "Education is an ornament in prosperity and a refuge in adversity."  Take a minute and think about what that means to you.
Fluffy out.
