It's Not Goodbye, It's I'll See You Later

Today has been... interesting.  Pretty much an emotional roller coaster, and I can only think of a handful of words that can truly describe how it's been.  Let's just say today has been exuberant, sentimental, luxurious, sensual, ludicrous, phenomenal, and absolutely ballistic all at the same time! :p  Ok so Danny and Coon moved back home today... :(  Danny's doing his 2nd semester at SLCC (that's Salt Lake Community College for all our international readers out there), and Coon is going on a mormon mission to Montevideo, Uruguay.  You might not think this is a big deal, I mean they're only 45 minutes away, right?  WRONG!  This means no more pillow fights through the night, no more going on our morning jogs together, no more EPIC video game battles and endless hours of watching Man vs Food, Pawn Stars, Friday Night Lights, Law and Order: SVU, and Arrested Development.  Ladies and gentlemen, this means no more Fluffy... for now.  Here are a couple pictures I managed to snap right before they... left. :(

It was hard to see them go, but it had to be done.  I'm sure the world didn't want to see Fluffy become disbanded, I mean who would?  It is my hope that one day, ALL of Fluffy will be back together.  It may not be today, this week, this month, or even this year.  But someday we will.

I'd like to end this post by saying one last thing.  Live every day like it's your last.  Thank you.

FINALS WEEK!!!!!?!!!

Ladies and gentlemen it's almost here.  The most stressful week of all time. (gulp)  All I can say is that D-415 is NOT taking it lightly.  Oh yeah and from now on when I say D-415 I'm referring to my apartment and those who live in it, namely Danny, Adam (Coon), Manny (Smash, Christian, who knows what they call him these days), Landon, Alex, and myself.  Danny, who is usually the party animal in our room, always blasting music without a care in the world, has now turned into a cute little bookworm.
And I must confess that if you've seen me in the last couple of days I've been practicing nonstop, constantly building for my architect final exam.
But non of us has been working as hard as Landon.  I swear when that kid isn't at school, he's doing his flight simulations preparing for his HUGE airplane final exam.  I managed to snap this picture of him right before he was about to "take off" in his flight simulation today.

While the rest of the world might be slacking off right before our finals kick off, I can assure you that D-415 is not.  Whether it be reading, building architectual pieces, or doing flight simulations, D-415 takes finals very seriously.  In our apartment, we have a famous quote by Aristotle that we wrote on our white board and it serves as somewhat of a motivator to us.  "Education is an ornament in prosperity and a refuge in adversity."  Take a minute and think about what that means to you.

Kids say the darndest things!

Ryan here.  Ok so today I'm back home from COLLEGE for the Thanksgiving break.  I like coming home because I get to be with my family.  There's a famous quote from one of my all time favorite movies Lilo and Stitch that says, "Ohana means family.  Family means no one gets left behind."  That pretty much sums up how I feel about my family. :)  That's kind of off the subject but anywho...

The talk of the town in the last little bit has been this blizzard that might wipe out the human race! It's supposed to be pretty crazy.  So get this... I walk in the front door and my little sister comes up to me and says, "Ryan! A lizard is coming, a lizard is coming!" I smirked a little and L2MS (laughed to myself).  "Tess it's a blizzard not a lizard you silly!" It was seriously funny guys, I'm not even kidding.  You know, I reckon what they say is true... Kids really do say the darndest things! :p

What a day!

Ok so today is Sunday and I don't know about everyone else but in my apartment Sunday's are SUPER stressfull!  So I start my day off waking up for church and guess what... I slept in!!! I ran to my bathroom to jump in the shower but Danny was still in it and he was taking forever!  The nerve of that kid.
Anyway by the time I got to church I was like 10 minutes late and my cheeks were way red! Sooo gosh darn embarrassing! :p  Well, the rest of the day was pretty average actually, but it was kinda stressful at first... There's a little peak of how my Sunday's are.  Until next time.
Fluffy

Hey Ya'll

First of all let me tell you what Fluffy is.  It's a group of friends who like to hang out with each other.  They are so close to each other that they resemble the three headed dog from Harry Potter.  The three heads are Danny, Ryan, and Adam, but the Fluffy crew consists of more than just those three heads.  There is also Sam, Jaren, Mario, Manny, Duke, and Jordon that are a part of Fluffy.  This blog was made to document our CRAZY college adventures and experiences.  Enjoy :p
